Why can’t I use AVCHD or ProRes media in LumaFusion?
With the release of iOS 13 and iPadOS, the Files app has received a major refresh. Similar to MacOS’s ‘Finder,’ the app now allows you to have access to external hard drives and SSDs. This gives you the ability to view any file you’ve placed on those drives.
Example - Full folder structure for AVCHD in Files:
Example - ProRes media in Files:
Even though you’re able to see media on your external drive, that doesn’t mean the media is compatible with iOS. If the media is not compatible with iOS, then LumaFusion can’t support it either.
