Incompatible File Types

If your files are not supported by Android OS and you're having trouble with playback or export, you can use the Optimize and Consolidate feature to ensure compatibility. For more information, visit Optimize and Consolidate Project.

It may still be possible to edit and export your movie with unsupported files on the Timeline. In some cases, you may see black in the Preview instead of the video. If the item can be selected at all, you will see a message in the Information panel indicating the clip is not fully compatible.

Some file types not included in this list may be supported in LumaFusion due to the device's native video player. File types not included in this list that work in LumaFusion on one device may not work on other devices. If you are working with a file type not included on this list, check your device's native video player to ensure compatibility.
